Reeth Rug Retreat is now in its 23rd year. Reeth is an ideal centre for the weekend. You can take a break from Hooking and wander round the shops or take a walk down to the River Swale. This is a non Residential weekend with plenty of accommodation and places to eat to suit your requirements.
Due to the current situation Heather and I have decided to make the Weekend a Hook in plus a beginners class and a punch needle class.
We hope in 2022 Reeth Rug Retreat we will be able to run more workshops.
Heather Ritchie has a wealth of rug making knowledge with over 38 years of teaching in the UK and overseas. Heather works from her Garden studio in Reeth. She is known for her fine detailed work portraying animals, people and places.
Cilla Cameron has been Rug Making for over 30 years she works from her Oxton studio and teaches in the UK and overseas. Is known for her jewel coloured hand dyed wool and yarn and is an Oxford Punch Hooking certified teacher
This is a time to make new friends, renew old friendships, our school is well known for it’s friendly atmosphere. As directors of the school we do our utmost to make everyone feel welcome and relaxed for a fabulous weekend of rug making.

Students can book their own accommodation there are plenty of Hotels, B&B’s and holiday cottages to choose from in Reeth and surrounding area. We advise you to book up sooner rather than later.

Bookings are taken on a first come first served basis along with the full fee. ( places are not reserved without payment)..
NB. Please do not text or ask for places to be saved without payment or booking form.
If you pay by BACS make sure you forward the booking form to me.

2. BACS (bank transfer) information on booking form.
3. If the weekend is cancelled due to Covid 19 restrictions The Fee will be refunded or forward to 2023
A requirement/confirmation list will be sent once your fee is paid and booking form received.
Shop The School shop is stocked with hooks, hessian, fabulous hand dyed wool swatches, Hand dyed Yarn, frames and more
