2015
We all had a fabulous time at Reeth this year. The tutors taught 3 excellent classes thank you. Here are some pictures of everyone working and showing their work.

Every year at the Rug school we have visitors from all over the world. Even though the Retreat is in a rural setting students arrive by car, taxi, bus and even on foot!. This year being no exception as Katy left Paris on Friday morning at 8.45am she arrived 2.30 pm at Grinton Lodge just in time for the taster session. Not bad for a 525 mile trip by Euro star, train from London and taxi to the school.
Ann lives only 22 miles away from Grinton Lodge and it took her two days to get there!... leaving home she had to catch the weekly bus from her village to Barnard Castle stay overnight there in time to catch the bus to Richmond then catch the little white bus to Grinton which drops off at the bottom of a rather steep hill (just under a mile up to Grinton Lodge) and she boldly marched up carrying her back pack. Ann's return journey was going to be the same but fortunately one of our regular ladies passes right by her front door and gladly gave Ann a lift home. phew I am exhausted thinking about that journey lol...

So the next time someone says to me its too far or I cant get there ...there is no excuse lol
